Rihanna has announced her Fall/Winter collection for River Island and this collection is more ambitious than her last and will even feature a limited edition collection!
The Fall/Winter collection will feature 80 pieces with the sportier Fall collection dropping first on September 12 while the more glamorous Winter pieces will drop in November in time for the Holiday season.
There will also be a Limited Edition Collection which will feature 100 pieces each of embossed leather jackets and trousers, printed camouflage snakeskin leather skirts and boots.
Some of the pieces feature the G4LIFE motto but no word on whether that will be featured on the limited collection as well.
“We had a lot more fun this time round,” her co-designer, Adam Selman told Vogue UK. “The first collection was a lot purer, about finding pieces that Rihanna felt were missing from her closet. There is a real concept to this one. I can’t give too much away, but we travel so much and experience so much of the world. We’re very lucky to do so and that definitely inspired us. The idea of sports uniforms and masculine vs feminine is something we evolved from last season too. There was a lot of pressure with our debut – this felt more relaxed.”
No word on whether the collection will make it to London Fashion Week like their Spring/Summer collection did.
