Gaga returns with NYC Pride performance

Lady Gaga made a proud and patriotic return to the stage on Friday after spending time out of the spotlight to recover from an injury.

The singer had been out of commission since February due to a labral tear in her right hip. The injury forced the star to cancel the rest of her "Born This Way Ball" tour earlier this year so that she could undergo surgery and recover.

But on Friday, Gaga made her first public appearance since her operation with a speech and performance at the kickoff event for New York City's Gay Pride Parade.




Along with a speech, Gaga also sang the Star-Spangled Banner:
