Following the release of several set pics during the production of Amazing Spider-Man 2, Jamie Foxx is in full Electro makeup (and facing off with Spidey) in an official promotional image on the cover of Entertainment Weekly' Comic-Con issue
The full article isn't online, but in an excerpt, EW quotes director Marc Webb on the freedom granted by doing a second movie. "People aren’t scared," Webb told the magazine. "With the first one I felt it was important to retell that origin story. But that was kind of brutal because people were so familiar with it. Now that the origin story is done? We’re off to the races. It’s incredibly liberating."
The excerpt also contains a brief quote from Foxx on the appeal of playing Electro, saying, "To get to be the villain and get to say all the cool stuff? Of course!"
