Kanye West & A.P.C. Team Up For Capsule Collection

Kanye West has teamed up with French brand A.P.C. on a capsule collection which will include a pair of jeans, a hoodie and a T-shirt.
The collection goes on sale at A.P.C. stores worldwide and online on July 14, which also happens to be Bastille Day in France and Kanye confirmed the news on Twitter writing, “Thank you Jean Touitou for letting me create with you.”

A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou said he first met Kanye when the Yeezus rapper visited his studio 2 years ago, and was announced to him as “Kenny.” Touitou confessed he didn’t know who he was talking to until Kanye lowered his sunglasses and said, “I’m a hip-hop artist.”
Ha! Yup that’s Kanye!
So why is Kanye collaborating on a capsule collection instead of focusing on his own fashion line?
“The first collection was way better than the second,” Kanye explained in W magazine. “It was more artful. It was 30 collections in one. It just takes time for me to slow down and think like a normal person.”
He added that established designers are already “in a position to go crazy. I tried to come out of the gate going crazy. And it didn’t work. So now I have to somehow put out something that says, ‘I look sensible!’
