EXCLUSIVE: AfroAsia Week UK 2015


 AfroAsia Week  is a yearly community event to showcase business and culture with a contest for youths and community awards.

The event will span two days, with a focus on showcasing, business, fashion, culture and recognition of community champions within the African and Asian Community in Great Britain alongside foods and drinks from both continents served at a utilitarian cafe bar on the same premises as the event.

The event location is UK Centre for Carnival Arts, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU1 3JA




DAY1 - 14 AUGUST 2015 - AFROASIA WEEK EXHIBITION 12PM - 8PM
Exhibition of products From Technology, Business & Innovation +Exhibition of Goods From Fashion, Skincare, and Accessories - SELL/EXHIBIT/INTERACT . Exhibition spots are open to businesses worldwide who are inspired or owned by enterpreneurs from Asia or Africa

Day 2 - 15 AUGUST 2015 -  AFROASIA WEEK RUNWAY 12-7PM
Fashion Runway for emerging and established designers. Fashion Designer spots are open to fashion designers worldwide who are inspired or owned by entrepreneurs from Asia or Africa
Each designer has a 15 minute slot divided into 2 runs one of 5 mins and one of 10 mins. Pricing starts from £99.99

Day 2 - 15 AUGUST 2015 -  MISS AFROASIA 7-9PM
Miss AfroAsia is a modest cultural and talent pageant for 15-25 year olds who have origins in any one of the countries in AFRICA or ASIA through themselves or at least one of their parents, grandparents or great grandparents. DAY 2 - 15 AUGUST 2015 -   AFROASIA AWARDS 9PM
To Nominate someone of AFRICAN or ASIAN origins/descent for an AfroAsia Award, please do so on the website. All finalists will have a biography written up in the AfroAsia Week Magazine.

DAY 1 & 2 - 14 & 15 August 2015 - AFROASIA FOOD COURT
Attendees can sample, purchase, try and obtain recipes and healthy eating guides from our onsite food court which will be available from the onsite Cafe Diner serving foods and drinks from regions of Africa and Asia.
